Key Dates

The nebusiness awards are open to entries from Tuesday, 6 October 2009 until 5pm on Friday, 15 January 2010 (Friday, 15 March 2010 for the Best Creative Business Award & the Not-for-profit Organisation of the Year Award). 

A shortlist of the 3 top entries for each category will be decided by Friday, 19 February 2010 (the Best Creative Business & Not-for-profit Organisation of the Year Awards will be decided by Thursday, 15 April 2010). Shortlisted companies and organisations will be announced in the Evening Gazette and The Journal on 23 & 24 February 2010 respectively. The Best Creative Business & Not-for-profit Organisation of the Year Award shortlists will be announced in the Evening Gazette & The Journal on 20 & 21 April respectively. 

The Awards will be presented at a gala dinner for each sub-region as follows:

• Durham & Wearside – Thursday, 11 March 2010 at Ramside Hall Hotel
• Tyneside & Northumberland – Thursday, 18 March 2010 at the Newcastle Marriott Hotel, Gosforth Park
• Tees Valley – Thursday, 25 March 2010 at the Olympia Building, Teesside University

The winning companies from each of the sub-regional heats (not applicable to Best Creative Business and Not-for-profit Organisation of the Year Awards) will go through to the Regional Final of the nebusiness awards which will be held at Hardwick Hall Hotel on Thursday, 29 April 2010.
