Purpose of Competition
To recognise and highlight companies that are demonstrating manufacturing excellence.
Judging Criteria
Judges will be considering all aspects of company performance that relates to manufacturing. There will be an emphasis on the following factors:
- Quality
- Substantially
- Investment in people and equipment
- Manufacturing innovation
- Sales performance and growth prospects
- Markets served
Examples of overcoming manufacturing difficulties, driving technology and productivity development and competing in tough market places will be relevant to the judges.
Eligibility
The competition is open to any manufacturing companies with a significant manufacturing presence in the North East. The competition is not open to the category sponsors or Trinity Mirror North East publications.

All financial information will be treated in the strictest confidence and will not be disclosed to anyone other than the panel of judges and its advisors. Please provide enough relevant information to enable the assessors to form a clear picture of your achievements.
